As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Public Accountant (CPA) specializing in audit to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and Oversee Audits
- Develop comprehensive audit plans based on risk assessment, client needs, and regulatory requirements.
- Assign roles and responsibilities to audit team members, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Coordinate audit activities, monitor progress, and address any issues or obstacles as they arise.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment
- Participate actively in audit fieldwork, analysis, and documentation as necessary.
- Address complex accounting and auditing issues, consulting with team members and clients as needed.
- Ensure timely completion of audit procedures and deliverables in accordance with established timelines.
- Meet with management and board members to discuss audit objectives, findings, and recommendations.
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the audit process, addressing inquiries and providing updates as needed.
- Cultivate strong client relationships built on trust, professionalism, and integrity.
- Prepare and review audit workpapers, financial statements, and reports for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Submit audit deliverables to clients in a timely manner, ensuring alignment with client expectations and firm guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of audit opinions and management letters, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Work closely with the partners to ensure alignment of audit strategies and objectives with firm goals.
- Provide regular updates on audit progress, issues, and client interactions to the partner.
- Remain up-to-date with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), as well as emerging trends and regulations in the auditing profession.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of OSHA regulations, standards, and requirements relevant to our industry and workplace
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the audit team.
- Travel demands of 5%-15% (may vary)
Skills:
– Strong knowledge of financial analysis principles and techniques
– Proficiency in CCH Prosystem fx Engagement system
– Knowledge of governmental accounting practices
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
